Analyzing the types of contracts. - Examining the contracting methods, Having a clear knowledge of contractual clauses. - Understanding what has been passed from the upstream phase. - Examining the business environment to foresee how the supplier/contractor may perform. - Understanding the elements of a legal contract. - Analyzing the Contracting methods - competitive and non - competitive. - Examining the risk in contract pricing. - Reviewing the tools and techniques to measure supplier's/contractor's performance. - Basic understanding of how and why claims arise. - Identifying causes of claims and disputes, and how to avoid them. - Basic understanding of the main methods of dispute resolution involving third parties. - Effectively handling claims, variations and disputes.
