Learn the gap analysis process: its templates, criticality and impact coding, and the reports it produces. Participants then turn those findings into action plans that genuinely improve HSSE processes rather than simply documenting them.
- Overview of the gap analysis processes, templates, criticality/ impact coding and reports.
- Understanding how to use gap analysis findings for developing action plans to improve processes within HSSE.
- Module 1: Gap Analysis.
- Identify the appropriate gap analysis method used for benchmarking, compliance checks and performance evaluation.
- Identify maturity, performance and compliance targets and parameters to be used in measuring current practice gap analysis.
- Compare current practices (e.g. policies, procedures, standards) against leading industry standards or desired state to identify operational deficiencies, deviations and improvement opportunities.
- Module 2: Action Planning.
- Describe the roadmap for achieving a desired future state by articulating actions and/or initiative based on improvement opportunities and gaps identified.
- Develop impact and criticality criteria and determine the appropriate performance measures for action plans based on the department/ unit operations or to-date performance.
