Fundamentals of Life Support Course (BLS)
Built for nurses providing professional basic life support to emergency patients. Participants learn why high-quality CPR changes survival outcomes, and practise the early, appropriate use of an automated external defibrillator.
Certification, assessment and examination requirements depend on the selected programme pathway and will be confirmed before registration.
- Nurses must able to :
- Perform and Provide Professional Basic Life Support care to emergency patients.
- Describe the importance of high quality CPR and its impact on survival.
- Module 1.
- Demonstrate the appropriate and professional early use of AED (automated external defibrillator).
- Perform as an effective team member during multi rescuer CPR.
